Our publishing house is situated in a very cosmopolite and catholic country: the Principality of Monaco. We publish books about the Church – another cosmopolite reality. Like Monaco and the Church herself, Liamar Editions is cosmopolite – our publications are in the English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Monegasque languages.
The primary focus of Liamar Editions is the help that laity can bring to the Church. That is why we publish titles for discerning lay Catholics who want to stimulate their thinking. We have a vision for building up the body of Christ at every level with books that are relevant, intelligent, engaging and sometimes amusing.
At both the popular and academic levels, we publish books by Roman Catholic authors, that engage such topics as spirituality, the arts, the economy, popular culture, theology, biblical studies, the social sciences, and more.
There is a critical need for ongoing reflection upon and understanding of the Catholic traditions, issues, questions, and values.
